The May 2025 housing market in Floyd County showed positive signs overall. The median sales price was $258,000, down 4.4% from last year but up 1.2% from April. New listings totaled 159, a 19.5% increase year-over-year, while active listings rose 48.3% to 393.
Sales volume reached $31,208,539, up 4.1% from May 2024. A total of 106 units were sold, reflecting a 5.0% year-over-year increase. Compared to April, sales volume rose 20.3%, and units sold increased 9.3%, showing solid month-over-month growth across the board.
